Film blurb: Brigitte's the brunette; Ginger's the redhead. The sisters' photo project (Edward Gorey's day job at Vogue) for their assignment 'Life in Bailey Downs' leaves their teacher (and guidance counselor) with unmixed feelings, as would the knowledge that the sisters have a pact to skip a rock across the shallow waters of suburban life: "out by sixteen or dead on the scene". Meanwhile, a recent spate of brutal dog killings has upset the placid surface of the neighbourhood; on a full moon, the sisters are out to seek revenge on a class mate (blonde, resident mean girl) when Ginger gets her first period and is viciously attacked by a werewolf. She survives, while the werewolf is fatally hit by a car. Shortly afterwards, Brigitte begins to suspect she's losing her sister to more than just hormones and, along with Sam (long hair, resident drug-dealer), attempts to find a cure (the purple flowers and later, the syringe). Meanwhile, Ginger uses Jason (short hair, resident ass) for sex and finds, to her mixed horror and excitement, that she prefers ripping the town to pieces. 

A note on an edit: the cake is to congratulate Ginger on her unwelcome milestone; the blonde in the fridge is a mostly accidental fatality (the sisters' mother refrigerates Trina's fingers in a plastic container like a fake prop, to keep their father in the dark). And never the twain do meet.

General notes: I was too late to reserve thuviaptarth's pinch hit, but then life imitated art and a bad night of cramps and spasms left me feeling unstoppable and paranoid; my first vid put itself together in three days under my cursory supervision -- luckily, the vid was too polite to say so and managed a good show all the same.
