I never mentioned, because vidding is a bit like messing about with mixed drinks until you can't tell your shoes from your feet, but thank you for measuring the whole thing with coloured pencils and a ruler. I'd never had a beta before, and I'm unlikely to have one again, but it was very useful having someone blow the whistle when I would have just let something pass or hand me a peanut when I needed one.

Wow - I don't know the movie but that was intense. Your use of the rope was amazing.

Absolutely haunting. I especially love the sequence where the camera moves around him in the chair.

This is terrific. Totally engrossing, sharp, and beautiful.

Fantastic editing. Really great rhythm and narrative and use of imagery and motifs. Your juxtapositions are lovely in places: reaching for the microphone and the washing line.

Fantastic vid, disturbing just so. In spirit with the film.

Wonderful! Loved how everything kept circling and circling, tighter and tighter. It looked pretty awful for him at the end, but visually it was awesome to watch. ;D

A video to one of my favourite films? That was such good news, so I was already set to love this. But your editing made me fall in love with this video. I know that I will download and watch this again and again.
I looooved the effects during the hypnose scene, it was so fitting. You captured the feeling of helplessness so well, with your fast editing and the pictures put in parallel, going back up on the screen again and again... It really portrayed Ian's feeling of being stuck in his life. Oh wow. I'll stop gushing now. But in case you couldn't tell, I really loved it.

I've never seen the movie, which clearly is a mistake on my part, but brilliant, brilliant use of the song--it's quite fitting considering SWR's musical influences, and the way you integrated the rope throughout the vid with the inevitable ending is brilliant. And completely disturbing.

Have you seen 24-hour party people, by chance?
